So today I finally went whale-watching out in the Bay of Fundy (google it.) It has the highest tides in the world. And I did see some whales, though a bit distantly. It was all a bit like a game of 3D blind man's bluff - whale surfaces over there, we go there, whale surfaces somewhere else, we go there - you get it. But I did catch one excellent shot of a humpback's tail which was worth the struggle. And it was pure fun to get the boat out into the bay, past seals and islands - some private. In the afternoon I walked around the town, the headland and shoreline, in the process getting lost on a nature trail and finding my way back via the Algonquin hotel, an extremely posh place. It really is a nice little town. There are some million dollar homes here, but you could buy an ocean view house for $150k too. Weather is perfect - so sunny I have panda eyes from wearing sunglasses all day. Then dinner and another sunset. Tomorrow back to the US, staying I don't know where.
